It's also a good idea to make an accompanying phone call to the patient doing a check-in and informing the patient you've sent them a summary of what was discussed when they were in the office. Here is a script your scheduling professional can modify and use:
Hi {Patient Name}. This is {team member} from {practice}. I hope you’re having a great day! I’m doing a quick check-in with you because you had expressed interest in {treatment} about {time} ago, and I wanted to see if this is still something you’re considering? Dr. {Name} actually made a personalized summary video for you that you’ll find in your inbox in case any of the details are fuzzy. Please respond to that if you have any questions for us, or if you’re ready to schedule treatment. If not, no problem! We’ll look forward to seeing you for your next cleaning. Thank you!
